Al Jazeera's done this lovely report on Noshin Afshan, a 36-year-old woman who is the ANP's only candidate in all of Punjab.

The report says that Afshan, a mother of three, hails from Jatoi tehsil in Muzaffargarh (south Punjab). She is up against 15 men in her constituency.

"It's always been in my nature to work like the men," she told Al Jazeera by phone. "I have never ... considered myself less than the men; never, not at all."

Afshan is a lawyer by profession with a master's degree in English.

"I want to serve my country, which is why I came into the elections, so I can get to that position and fight for my region," she said.

Best of luck to Afshan!
