RAWALPINDI: The district administration on Monday declared all basic health units (BHUs) in District Rawalpindi heatstroke centers for polling day.

A senior official of district administration said that district administration would take necessary measures to provide medical treatment to sun stroke patients on polling day.

He said it would be ensured that these centers are properly equipped with all necessary equipment.

He said that 98 BHUs in Rawalpindi, eight rural health centers and six tehsil headquarters have been designated as heat stroke centers.

He also said that with all these preventive measures, awareness campaign about precautionary measures had also been launched.

The awareness material will be pasted at all polling stations, he said.
