The ECP on Saturday issued 25 'observer' cards to transgender volunteers in Khyber Pakhtunwa. The observers will assist transgender voters during the voting process on election day.

Peshawar's NA-31 has the record highest number of registered transgender voters, while KP has a total of 312 transgender voters.

The observers who have been given cards by the ECP are expected to report any incident of harassment or obstruction which occurs on voting day.
