DERA GHAZI KHAN: It is unfair that all contestants for the general elections are being restricted except for one blue-eyed (ladla) boy, PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif said at a gathering in Rujhan Mazari, Rajanpur, on Wednesday.

Mr Sharif, who is contesting for NA-192 (Dera Ghazi Khan), urged the people to defeat jeep, bat and arrow by voting for tiger on July 25.

In Rujhan, PML-N candidates are Khizar Mazari (NA-195), Atif Mazari (PP-297) and Hassan Gorchani (PP-294).

Mr Sharif said the PML-N had established Danish school and a medical college in Dera Ghazi Khan, a cardiology hospital in Bahawalpur, kidney hospitals in Multan and Bahwalpur, issued health cards to poor masses, launched speedo and metro buses in Multan and Lodhran, built Lodhran-Khanewal motorway and Dera-Muzaffargarh dual carriageway and issued a Rs1,000 monthly stipend for female students of high schools.

He said in the leadership of Nawaz Sharif, they produced thousands of megawatt electricity while Imran Khan (he called him ilzam Khan) could not produce even one kilowatt in the last five years.

He said he proudly claim to make Quetta, Karachi and Peshawar just like Lahore whereas could “Ilzam Khan claim to make all cities like Peshawar?”

He said in one breath Mr Khan nominated Nasir Khosa as interim chief minister and in the next breath he withdrew his decision. He said he pray for the friends who had left the party but on July 25, people would defeat arrow, bat and jeep.

He said he would establish a university and a Danish school in Rujhan and 50 primary schools in the riverine area.

Mr Sharif will face in NA-192 Muhammad Khan Leghari from the PTI. He did not visit his constituency where former MPA Jamal Leghari, Mehmood Qadir Leghari and Muhammad Ahmed Khan Leghari are running his campaign. His absence from the constituency is benefiting the PTI, according to local political pundits.

Also, residents of Rujhan Mazari held a protest demonstration against Mr Sharif before his arrival to Rujhan. Protesters were carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogan against the PML-N.

For NA-195 and PP-297, PTI has fielded Dost Muhammad Mazari and Riyaz Khan Mazari.
