Prime Minister Nasirul Mulk will be chairing a meeting of the Apex Committee in Peshawar today to discuss matters pertaining to security for electoral candidates.

Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani has announced that he would constitute a committee to review security threats to candidates.

For their party, members of various political parties like PTI, PML-N and PPP have condemned the Peshawar attack on the ANP and have requested the caretaker government to increase efforts on security to enable a level-playing field for all candidates.
