Speaking at a ‘Meet the Press’ programme at the Karachi Press Club on Tuesday, Pak Sarzameen Party chief Mustafa Kamal has said he is proud to be a Mohajir, but Karachi needs national politics more than any other city of Pakistan.
His solution to Karachi's many woes: the devolution of powers to the lowest level — and not the creation of a new province.
Kamal thinks the water shortage is Karachi's biggest problem at the moment
He says the gravity of the situation could be gauged from the fact that the chief justice of Pakistan himself had to issue directives for lifting garbage in Karachi.
