SUKKUR: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf leader and former Senate chairman and caretaker prime minister Muhammad Mian Soomro on Monday garnered the support of estranged Pakistan Peoples Party leader and former provincial minister Agha Taimur Pathan in the contest for NA-196 (Jacobabad) seat.

Mr Soomro along with PTI’s candidates for PS-1 (Jacobabad) Aslam Abro and PS-3 (Garhi Khero) Sardar Sakhi Abdul Razzak Khoso and others met Agha Taimur Pathan and Agha Shaheen Pathan at their residence in Sultankot.

The Pathans extended their full support to all PTI candidates for Jacobabad constituencies in the election.

Former MPA Pitambar Sewani also announced his joining of PTI during the meeting.
