Some recent tweets from a self-declared sufi regarding disturbing developments over the weekend have left many disappointed. That the individual in question has quite prominently been attached to a political party that likes to project itself as a force for positive change just makes it so much worse.

Need we point out that advocating violence against political opponents can never be okay.

And that calling provocation 'art' is just plain delusional.

Some well-wishers have some good advice for the once-beloved rockstar.

We continue to hope and pray that sense and decency prevail in the days ahead.
