Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar and NAB chief Javed Iqbal have both clarified that they are not picking sides ahead of the upcoming elections.

"I am not running the campaign of any political party," the CJP said during a visit to a hospital located in APML president Sheikh Rashid's constituency.

"Sheikh Sahib, you are doing a great job," he added while declining Rashid's offer to possibly rename the 400-bed hospital to Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar Child and Mother Hospital. Or something to that effect.

NAB's Iqbal too distanced himself and the bureau from any partisanship.
