BANNU, May 31: A jirga of the Isaki area has threatened to launch a protest movement if the administration fails to recover within 48 hours a driver who was kidnapped in Bannu on May 13. Members of the jirga said police were reluctant to register a case against the influential kidnappers.
They said people of the five union councils of Isaki area would launch a protest movement if the administration failed to recover the driver, Naseeb Niaz, who had been kidnapped allegedly by some people of the Garera Shahjehan.
