KHAIRPUR, May 31: A man was killed and 30 others were injured when a Karachi-bound bus coming from Peshawar overturned on the National Highway near Mosani village on Tuesday. When the passenger bus reached the village, its tie-rod broke into two and it went out of driver’s control and overturned.

A passenger, Seelani Khan, 60, son of Gul Sarwar, was killed and 30 others were injured.

The injured were Asmat Ali, Munim Shah and Amirullah (Khyber Agency), Safar Khan (Bara area), Musarrat Khan and Kausar Khan (Gilgit), Naheed Khatoon and Abdul Rahim (Peshawar), Sada Gul, Shad Mohammad and Mohammad Dawood (Hazara), Faiz Mohammad, Shamsullah Khan, Gul Khan, Zaman Khan, Adal Khan, Basit Khan, Arshad Ali Khan, Hujatullah Khan, Kabul Khan and bus driver Aurangzaib.
