KARACHI, May 31: A 14-member inspection team of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council, led by Khyber Medical College Principal Fazal Ahmed on Tuesday visited Sindh Medical College (SMC), Karachi. Dow University of Health Sciences Vice-Chancellor Prof Masood Hameed Khan, Registrar Dr Meher F Hansotia, SMC Principal Prof Tariq Sharafatullah, Vice- Principal Prof Raeesa Anjum, Dow Medical College Principal Prof Salahuddin Afsar, Ojha Institute of Chest Diseases In-charge Dr Ashraf Sadiq and other officials welcomed the team members.

The team visited various departments of the Sindh Medical College including college library, old building and under construction dental college’s building.

SMC principal apprised the delegation that the dental college was being established in SMC’s old building, which had been the British Army Headquarters during the British rule. — PPI
