Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan used to be pretty peeved when his long dharnas (sit-ins) during the previous government went in vain.

The PML-N government would almost always remain unperturbed and not give in to the protesting Khan, who would then get redder and badder by the day.

This was such dominant motif in Khan's politics of the last five years that he gets (wrongly) credited for pioneering the dharna politics (we're pretty sure he only brought it back in fashion).

So while Khan has staged more than his share of dharnas, he had never been the one against whom a dharna was staged. THAT finally happened on Monday when PTI workers, of all people, gathered outside the famous residence of their beloved leader to register their protest against the award of party tickets in some constituencies.

Khan finally got a taste of his own medicine — and it was bitter.

“No matter how many people gather, I will not change the decision,” said Khan, who seemed pretty upset by the tone of this quote.

This way to find out all of what Khan said to his party workers.
