KARACHI: Seven persons, all close relatives, were shot at and wounded in the Quaidabad area on Monday as a squabble among children turned violent, according to police and hospital officials.

The condition of two of them was serious.

Officials added that relatives exchanged fire after children fought with each other in Gulshan-i-Buner area. As a result, seven persons, all close relatives sustained bullet wounds.

Five of them were brought for treatment at the JPMC, said Dr Seemin Jamali, executive director of the hospital.
