KARACHI, May 30: City Nazim Niamatullah Khan has said that he considers Karachi as his own city and is investing all his energies and abilities for its development. “Everyone living here should take part in its development and serve its cause by considering it his own city,” Niamatullah said while speaking as chief guest at an introductory ceremony of Malir River bridge at Shah Faisal Colony on Sunday night.

The Rs1057.953 million proposed bridge will be 1,350 metre long and 23.60 metre wide. To be constructed in two years, the bridge will emanate from Shama Chowk Shah Faisal Colony and end at Singer Chowrangi, Korangi-8000 Road, connecting Korangi Industrial Area with residential area of Shah Faisal Colony. — APP
