CHARSADDA: National Youth Organisation (NYO) president in Charsadda district Shah Hussain alias Sangeen Shah died in a traffic accident on Thursday, leaving his friends and family in a state of shock.

Shah Hussain was president of NYO, a youth organisation of Awami National Party.

He also remained president of the Pakhtun Students Federation in the University of Peshawar. He was on way from Charsadda to Sherpao town in his car when he hit the median while trying to save a youth riding a motorcycle.

One of his friends accompanying him also suffered injuries in the accident. Shah Hussain succumbed to his injuries in the district headquarters hospital, Charsadda.

A large number of party members and youth associated with NYO and PkSF attended his funeral.
