NEW DELHI: Indian Foreign Minister Natwar Singh will travel to Vladivostok this week for talks to boost trade and regional cooperation between China, India and Russia, the Indian government said on Monday. Mr Singh leaves on Tuesday for the meeting on Thursday with his Russian and Chinese counterparts.
“This is the first time that they are getting together specially for a trilateral meeting,” an Indian official said.
“The trilateral engagement is not aimed at creating any power bloc... or to target any country. They will discuss ways of building on convergence,” the official told PTI, adding energy, trade and regional cooperation would top the agenda.—AFP
