LAHORE: A policeman was injured when the boundary wall of Kahna police station caved in due to an explosion on Sunday.

The policeman was sleeping in the room near the wall when it caved in. The blast was intense and also damaged the room and its windowpanes.

Model Town SP Faisal Shehzad told Dawn that the blast could have taken place in the heap of garbage due to biogas produced from decaying vegetables in the trash.
