‘Imran wants to use caretaker set-up for political gains’

LAHORE: The PML-N has asked Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan not to use the caretaker set-up for his party’s political gains.

Reacting to Mr Khan’s letter to Caretaker Prime Minister (retired) Justice Nasirul Mulk over the issue of power and water crises in the country, PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said in a statement here on Friday that the caretaker government was bound to stay impartial as it could not be influenced by any political party.

She said Imran Khan wanted to use the caretaker set-up for his own political gain.

Mr Khan has asked the caretaker premier to share the exact situation of the electricity crisis and circular debt with the nation.

Ms Aurangzeb challenged Mr Khan to tell people about the performance of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government. The PML-N added more than 10,000MW to the system, she said.

What political gain? Doesn’t she understand that Pakistani public should know the TRUTH from a neutral game vt rather than dreamed up figures from the past PNL-N govt who is to fudging figures like ex Nawaz Sharif in Avenfield case. If the debt is even higher than we need to know.

The what difference is there between PTI and PML n. Only pml n is allowed to use caretaker setups in their favor and the only thing they are good at. Why would PTI sink to such low levels.

It is but natural the adverse parties will try to gain support of Care Takers, but despite that the learned CJP has done a great job by making imperative an Affidavit with election form. All those parties have more components of corrupt individuals may be aware they are going to lose, even if they win more seats.So better allow only those contestants who can fulfill the Affidavit repercussions.

Majority of these politicians just drew their monthly pay, received kickbacks and enjoyed free perks on our tax payers expenses. PML-N and zardari did not do to eliminate water and power shortages a basic necessities.

Does this PMLN minister have any shame to bragging about adding 10,000MW when the blackouts are just as bad if not worse than under previous PPP government! Marriyum Aurangzeb should explain why PMLN who claimed during the election campaign in 2013, that PMLN will solve electricity shortages within 6 months
