KARACHI: The semi-final line-up has been drawn in the Olympian Mansoor Ahmed Inter-district five-a-side hockey league at the KHA Sports Complex on Monday.

The quartet who made it to the last four includes Malir Colours (A), East Colours (B), Malir Whites (C) and Korangi Colours (D).

Five-goal Naveed steered district Malir Whites to a tall scoring 12-9 victory over East Whites. He was followed by Zafar three, Asif two, Zohaib and Mudassir one each.

Abdullah (4), Anus (2), Hunain, Ismail and Ehtisham one each scored for the losers.

In another match, district East Colours sent Korangi Whites packing 18-8 to emerge pool B champions.

Mani top scored with five goals and was assisted by Rizwan Khan (4), Azlan Khan and Imran Khan three each, Owais Khan (2) and Fazeel Khan (1).

Raja Murtaza and Atif Ali Sr shared six goals amongst themselves while Ammer Iqbal and Raja Hamza netted one apiece for the losers.

Earlier, district Central Colours outclassed Korangi Whites 11-6 on Sunday.

Those who earned scoring honours for the winners includes Zunair Jalees (4), Faisal Raza (3), Hammad Ayaz (2), Shahzaib and Majid Khan one each.

Atif Ali Sr slammed three, Raja Murtaza two and Ammer Iqbal one for the losers.

In another match district West Whites brushed aside South Colours 11-6.

Asad and Wilayat Ali shared six goals amongst themselves while Bilal and Zafar Shah scored a brace apiece. Shahid completed the rout for the winners.

Those who earned scoring honours for the losers were Saad Ahmed (3), Shehzad, Adil and Ashar one each.

Malir Colours takes on Malir Whites in the first semi-final on Thursday while East Colours will face Korangi Colours in the second semi-final the following day. The final is slated for Saturday.
