Farhan slams century

KARACHI, May 28: Farhan Rafiq scored a superb century as Zone-II Blues thrashed Zone-IV Blues by 168 runs in the KCCA Under-19 Inter-zonal cricket championship match at the TMC Ground on Friday. Farhan hammered eight boundaries in making 108 that helped Zone-II Blues score 272 for nine in 40 overs. Asim Imam also batted well to contribute 65 which included six fours.

In another fixture, played at the Student Ground, Zone-VI Whites struggled before beating Zone-V Blues by two wickets. For the winners, off-spinner Misbah Khan took five for 31 and Hasnain Rizvi hit 66 with seven fours and three sixes.

Zone-VI Whites beat Zone-V Blues by two wickets.
