THE Federal Public Service Commission announced recruitments to 12 posts of protector of emigrants in the Bureau of Emigration and Oversees Employment in its advert no 12/2016 through case No 304/2016.

I was lucky enough to pass the initial recruitment process and appeared for an interview. The last interview was conducted on Nov 8, 2017. The result was expected by the end of the month.

Unfortunately, a mental trauma started for candidates when the case went to the Islamabad High Court (Waseem Jamal vs the federation of Pakistan through petition No 129/2017). The last hearing of the case was on Dec21, 2017. Since then no hearing has taken place.

The chief justice of the IHC should take notice of the issue so that the case may be disposed of at the earliest and the result of the interview is announced by the FPSC.
