MUZAFFARABAD: Two women were injured in Bhimber district of Azad Jammu and Kashmir in Indian shelling from across the Line of Control on Saturday evening, an official said.

Nusrat Begum and Irshad Begum suffered injuries between 7:30pm and 8:30pm in Chahi village of Samahni after Indian troops started shelling without any provocation, said Deputy Commissioner Chaudhry Guftar.

Both were taken to the District Headquarters Hospital in Bhimber, he added.
