KARACHI, May 26: Four ships carrying general cargo, containers and logs are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was fairly brisk where nine ships, Hyundai Stride, Thor Capitan, Iran Shaharyar, Y.M. Moon to unload and load containers, POS Brave, Indotrans Flores and Ping Jiang, with general cargo, Shina and Shalamar to unload lube and crude oil were berthed.

Four vessels, T.M.M. Haidalgo, APL Susan, Pos Brave and Marblue departed on Thursday, while Shina, Y.M.Moon, Shalamar, Thor Captain, and Eax Sanctity are due to sail out on Friday.

Owing to larger handling of both general and liquid tonnage the total rose to 0.122m tons comprising 36,624 tons of export cargo including 2,616 tons of rice and 1,010 tons of cement and 85,685 tons of import cargo.

The following ships are due on Friday: Nur Yanbu, with chemicals, PAC Antlia, Wan Hai-261, with containers and Ocean Hope, with 1,973 logs.
