RAWALPINDI, May 25: An enraged man shot dead his 19-year-old son and injured another in Dhoke Mustakeem (Westridge) on Wednesday, police said. Agha Taskeen, a dentist and father of five, lived in Afshan Colony. According to his wife Yasmeen Bibi, he had been “disturbed” for the last couple of days and quarrelled with his family members over some domestic issues.

As a result, the woman shifted her children, including Agha Raheel, 19, Agha Nabeel, 21, and daughters to a separate house in street 1 of Dhoke Mustakeem.

On Wednesday evening, Agha Taskeen came to his wife’s house and started arguments with the family during which he took out a 30-bore pistol and attacked Raheel and Nabeel.—Staff Reporter
