KARACHI: SBTE workshop

Published May 25, 2005

KARACHI, May 24: The Sindh Adviser, Mumtaz Hameed has termed the acquisition of technical education the need of the hour. He was speaking at a workshop held at a local hotel under the auspices of the Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE), says a statement issued here on Tuesday.

The adviser pointed out that in this era of scientific advancement only those nations could make headway which had enough technical experts.

The workshop was held to update the DAE syllabus and for the promotion of technical and vocational education and seek the recommendations of the experts in this regard. Mr Hameed appreciated efforts of the SBTE in this very respect.—APP
