KARACHI, May 23: Nine ships carrying DAP fertilizer containers, general cargo and to load molasses and naphtha are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where three ships, Kota Mesra, to unload and load containers, Noora-1, to offload chemicals and Johar to unload crude oil were berthed after the departure of two.

The ships, which departed included Bunga Bidara and Cape Noli, while Silver River, Kota Mesra, Emblum, Johar and Global Harmony are due to sail out on Tuesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 88,379 tons comprising 12,379 tons of export cargo and 75,980 tons of import cargo was handled, which also included 60,339 tons of oils.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Rising one Gagar Mayang, to load 2,000 and 25,000 tons of naphtha, Eax Sanctity, APL Pusan, with containers, Shalamar, with crude oil, Jo Gran to load 35,000 tons of molasses, Shina, with 1,928 tons of lube oil, Alexandros-TH, with 31,783 tons of DAP fertilizer and Pos Brave, with general cargo.
