ISLAMABAD, May 22: Pakistan is looking forward to further improving relations with India through more CBMs and continuation of composite dialogue between the two countries to resolve Kashmir issue. These observations were made by National Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Amir Hussain during a meeting with a 48-member delegation of parliamentarians from the Indian Punjab Assembly, headed by its speaker, Dr Kewal Krishna, who called on him at the Parliament House on Sunday.

Bilateral matters, parliamentary cooperation and issue of common interest were discussed during the meeting.

Chaudhry Amir Hussain said regular exchange of parliamentary delegations would pave the way for further strengthening ties with India and resolving problems between the two countries.

Interaction at various levels will significantly contribute towards improving ties, he said.

Mr Hussain said peace initiated by top leaders of both countries had created an atmosphere of peace and stability in the region. He said there existed a strong will among people in the region for durable peace based on mutual understanding.
