Ali Asad, Fahim hit centuries

KARACHI, May 21: Superb centuries by Ali Asad and Mohammad Fahim guided Zone-II Whites to a comprehensive 190-run win against Zone-I Greens in the KCCA Under-19 Inter-zonal cricket tournament at the YMCA ground on Friday. Ali Asad scored 122 with 13 boundaries and Fahim made 102, including six fours, to help Zone-II Whites reach 316 for three in 50 overs.

Zone-I Greens were bowled out for 126 in 45 overs with slow left-armer Athar Hussain picking up four for 18.

In the other match, Zone-V Whites defeated Zone-I Blues by 82 runs at the Landhi Gymkhana Ground.
