BEIJING: Chinese Defence Minister Wei Fenghe has said that China is willing to work with Pakistan to focus on building a community of human destiny, consolidate the all-weather friendship and deepen pragmatic cooperation between the two armed forces.
Talking to Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi here on Thursday, Wei said China and Pakistan were good neighbours, good friends and good partners.
He said his country was ready to provide security guarantees for the One Belt, One Road project. He said that under the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, the people throughout the country were striving hard to realise the Chinese dream.
Admiral Abbasi congratulated the world-renowned achievements of the Chinese armed forces. He said Pakistan cherished the traditional friendship with China and was willing to deepen exchanges and cooperation between the two armed forces in high-level exchanges, practical training, and equipment and technology, and promote the development of relations between the two countries and the two armed forces.

Pak has a great trade imbalance with China. Although China has bought more goods from Pak, but still more is desired. Since China repeated term Pak as close friend, it may please buy more from us.

Good to see two asian countries building relationship. Rather than investment in army of Pak China should reduce the interest rate of loan, train local people of Pak and provide them job in Chinese industries requiring cheqp labour. Technology transfer is another key in growth of Pak and Pak should demand the transfer immediately. Also road should be built to connect Pak manufacturing hubs with China rather only markets of Pak which present CPEC picture says.

China desires consolidated ties with Pakistan in order to sell the military weapons. China manufactures all kinds of weapons and military equipment. Is that what all superpowers helping smaller nations do, sell weapons?

The British said the same thing to Emperor Jahangir when they suggested to bring their own security (army) to a trading colony in Mumbai so the Mughal Sultanate won't have to bear the cost of security.

Pakistanis must be very careful about the Indian propaganda against the China-Pak friendship. Modi government can not digest the reality of CPEC project which is very near to complete. India's Chabahar project with Iran is now dead.

Pakistan and China will strengthen the security and economics of the region and ensure no other ‘misguided wannabes’ invade and occupy other smaller countries in the region like Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh or Maldives, or dictate to them.

What does he mean by this? Is it domination?
I believe in our forces more than anyone else in the world to provide us security. Chinese boots should better keep out of our land and if they are interested to provide security then ensure our "economic security" !!!
