LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-N President and Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has reorganised party’s Sindh chapter and appointed Shah Muhammad Shah as its acting president, Aslam Abru as senior vice president and Saleem Zia as general secretary.

Shehbaz Sharif directed them to complete the process of reorganization of the party at provincial, divisional, district and tehsil levels at the earliest, says a press release.

Earlier, Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair and PML-N office-bearers from the province called on him here on Wednesday. Senators, including Rahila Magsi, Syed Asif Ali Kirmani, Asad Ali Khan Junejo and Saleem Zia, attended the meeting.

Also present were Railways Minister Khwaja Saad Rafiq and Minister of State for National Food Security and Research Syed Ayaz Ali Sherazi. Pakistan Muslim League-N Khyber Pakhtunkhwa president and adviser to prime minister Eng Amir Muqam also called on the chief minister.

APPOINTED: Shehbaz has appointed Mirza Ishtiaq Baig as president of the Business Forum of Pakistan, PML-N.
