KARACHI, May 21: Information Minister Sheikh Rashid on Saturday inaugurated Pak Suzuki’s website and newsletter. He said present facilities and recent expansion at Pak Suzuki would substantially contribute to the growth of automobile industry in Pakistan.

Earlier, Pak Suzuki Motor Company Managing Director Kenichi Ayukawa said as per the call of the government to take concrete measures to curb the menace of premiums and long waiting periods on delivery of Suzuki vehicles, the company had now geared up to meet the current demand.

He said recent investment made in expansion facilities amount to Rs2.098 billion and further investments of over Rs1 billion were in pipeline for product upgradation. “The expansion will create over 1,400 additional jobs in the next two years.—APP
