PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company has announced that power supply in different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will remain suspended on Saturday (tomorrow) for six hours due to maintenance work on the transmission lines.
A statement issued here on Thursday said that power supply would remain suspended from 132KV Shahibagh grid station on Saturday from 9am to 3pm,resultantly consumers of Daudzai-1 and 2, Industrial, KSM, Khazana, Haryana-1 and Old Naguman would face inconvenience.
It was stated that the same problem would be faced by consumers of PAF Base, MES-2, Old MES, CAA and Mall Road due to suspension of power supply from Peshawar Cantt grid station the same day from 9am to 3pm.
Similarly, the consumers of Wazir Bagh, Bhana Mari, PAF, Old Deh Bahadar, New Deh Bahadar, Old Kohat Road, Landi Arbab-1 and 2, Nodeh Payan, Peshtakhara, Shiekh Mohammadi, New Kohat Road, Industrial, Murshidabad, Bara, Dora Road and Sonehri Masjid area would also suffer due to suspension of power supply from Peshawar Industrial grid station from 9am to 3pm.
The power supply would remain suspended from Peshawar University Grid Station from 9am to 3pm which would affect residents of HMC, Hayatabad-4 and 5, University Campus, Gulabad, Canal Town, Malakander and nearby areas.
Pesco said that power supply would remain suspended from Jamrud grid station from 9am to 3pm and as a result consumers of Hayatabad-1 and 2 and 3 would face inconvenience. The consumers of the Surizai Bala, Hazarkhwani, Yakatoot feeder would also suffer due to power suspension from Rehman Baba grid station from 9am to 3pm.
It was stated that power supply would remain suspended from Peshawar City grid station from 9am to 3pm and as result consumers of Lala, Chughalpura, NHA, Chamkani, Jhagra, Nishtar-abad would suffer.
