Broadcast my court case hearings live, Sharif demands

Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday demanded that the hearings of the corruption cases he is facing before an accountability court be broadcast live so that the public could see that he has nothing to hide.
Addressing a gathering of PML-N supporters in Samundri, Faisalabad District, the ousted premier said: "I want them [his court hearings] to be shown live on television so people can see there is nothing in them. It's based on a lie and it's being exposed in the court on a daily basis.
"It’s a fraud, go and watch for yourself," he asked his supporters.
Sharif reminded his supporters of his achievements, saying: "We worked day and night. We tried our best to end the energy crisis, we tried to uproot terrorism and we brought CPEC to Pakistan.
"I ask myself 'Nawaz Sharif you were serving your country then what are these cases against you?'. I have been to almost 50 court hearings.
"I am being punished for not taking salary from my son. Fake cases were made against me. There was not a penny's corruption. I was ousted from the PM house, then removed from party presidency. Do you agree with this insult and degradation?"
Sharif assured his followers that his hands are clean. "I've always worked with honesty. I cannot even think of taking a penny of corruption, commission or kickbacks. Such money is cursed."
The former PML-N supremo told his detractors that he wouldn't not budge from his principles. "I will never back down. Those who don't know me should know this today that I am not the kind who backs down. God willing I will fight this injustice and cruelty."
Sharif said that the court cases against him date back to 1962 "when I was only 12 years old and in school."
Earlier, Maryam Nawaz had urged PML-N supporters to "not just vote for the party in 2018 General Election but also guard their votes".
"This time don't let any conspiracies succeed," she added.

1. Name a PM who works double shifts on iqama in Dubai?
2. You were not disqualified for holding iqama. Perjury & concealment of asset are reasons for disqualification.
Otherwise, Kh. Asif & Ahsan Iqbal hold iqamas as well, but they still are ministers.
3. Burden of proof is on your family. Just give money trail & get vindicated. Rest is irrelevant.
4. JIT interviews of your and your family should also be made public.

Sounds like he thinks that the PM seat is his personal property and not a position of trust that was given to him based on his character that has been lost now after Panama revelations. He is being tried now on charges of money laundering and embezzlement and does not have the character and trust that is required for a person to be PM of a nation. He should talk about his cases in the court of law instead of making a mockery of himself repeating the same mantra at public meetings.

A good demand by Mian Sahib, we have been viewing from long time since Mian Sahib address nation on TV & spoke in National Assembly, we remember how his sons & daughter said mashallah & inshallah with acknowledgement of their properties.We all know that Sharif family is rich since long inheritance, the only possible inadvertent errors expected that being forcibly exiled, everything like bookkeeping of accounts,the documents,and on top mental tension & continued rebuttals confrontation with strong General Musharraf and his team, dismantled his records about finances,Ofcourse its on record some millions of dollars he got as personal gifts from KSA rulers, the recent crusade of maligning is not justified when General Musharraf can't find corruption in Mian Sahab a/c. I think a benefit of doubt may please be given to Sharifs , and all cases be withdrawn in national interest, and let the people decide in new election, because so far nothing proved.

Sharifs had a problem of Hussain Nawaz' JIT interrogation picture becoming public and now want live broadcast when the case is about to end and when only cross examination by expensive lawyers remains. If there's nothing, that's your item fault. NAB Court doesn't have to prove anything. You've admitted that you own the properties, now it's your job to show how you obtained them. Generational businessmen failed to hire accountants, so there's no proof of any bank transactions?

Nawaz Shareef, court is asking you to tell, where you (or your children) got the money to buy those flats in London. Now, you (and your children) should tell the source instead of stories that 'if you have property beyond means, than what court and NAB has to do with it?' ... If you cannot answer than all your assets should be confiscated and you should be sent to jail (in China, you would have got executed).
You should know that if govt employee earning Rs 25000 monthly is found owing Rs 10 crore property that his school going unemployed children owns, than it is state duty (Court and NAB) to ask for the resource, and if that state employee cannot justify having that property than the property should be confiscated and that employee should be punished for corruption. State do not need to prove that property is acquired from corruption or not, as having assets beyond means is itself proof of corruption.

Not showing a proof is less of AC conviction than showing the evidence of corruption and money laundering. Further his lawer may be smarter than the federal lawer.
