NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, May 18: Members of the People’s Party Parliamentarian Sindh council, Syed Aftab Ali Shah and Karim Bux Mallah, have said that the PPP would resist division of Kandiaro taluka. Speaking at a press conference at the Syed House, Kandiaro, on Tuesday, they said that the taluka nazim of Kandiaro and his MPA brother who if adviser to the Sindh chief minister, were ‘turncoats’.

They said that MPA Manzoor Ali Shah had left the party for a petty seat of adviser to the chief minister and his brother, the taluka nazim of Kandiaro, Syed Aftab Ali Shah, switched over his loyalties despite the oath on the Holy Quran.

They said that the two brothers could not be elected in future so as they do not enjoy the backing of the masses.

They said that they were now making efforts to divide Kandiaro taluka and creating two more talukas — Mehrabpur and Khan Wahan — but the PPP will resist the move.

PPP district press secretary Ameer Rajpar and other district and taluka office-bearers were also present on the occasion.
