PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company on Wednesday announced that power supply will remain suspended on March 24 (Saturday) in different areas of Peshawar and some other districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to routine maintenance work on the transmission lines which will cause inconvenience to consumers for six hours.

According to the power shutdown notice, electricity supply will remain suspended from Shahi Bagh grid station from 9am to 3pm, resultantly consumers of Sirbiland Pura, Latifabad, Faqirabad, Lala, Eidgah, Dalazak, OPF, Wadpaga-1, 2, Pakah Gulam and Sethi Town will face problems.

Power supply will be suspended from Peshawar Industrial grid station from 9am to 3pm, as a result consumers of Old Kohat Road, New Kohat Road, Sonehri Masjid, Old Deh Bahadar, New Deh Bahadar, Landi Arbab-1, 2, Nodeh Payan, Peshtakhara, Shiekha Mohammadi, Industrial, Murshed Abad, Bara and Dora Road will face inconvenience.

Peshawar Fort grid station will also face power suspension from 9am to 3pm, troubling consumers of Deans, Kohati Gate, Qissa Khwani, Kareem Pura, Chowk Yadgar, Dabgari, Shoba, Kakshal, LRH and MES-1.

Power supply will remain suspended from Dalazak grid station from 9am to 3pm, hitting consumers of Wadpaga-1, 2, Gulozai, Mohammad Zai, Gulbela-1, 2, Pakha Ghulam and OPF.

The Peshawar Cant grid station will also face power suspension from 9am to 3pm, inconveniencing consumers of KTH, University Town, Tehkal, Islamia College, NCR, PAF, Palosi-1 and Circular Road.

Also, the power supply will remain suspended from Rehman Baba grid station from 9am to 3pm, troubling consumers of New Urmer, Hazarkhwani, Pando Road-2, Ring Road, Yaka Toot, Mera Kachori, Baghbanan, Urmer, Surizai and Surizai Bala.

Power supply would also remain suspended from Peshawar City grid station from 9am to 12noon, hitting consumers of Chughal Pura, Hashtnagri, Zaryab and Chamkani.
