TOBA TEK SINGH: Police have booked two men for allegedly subjecting their 13-year-old orphan cousin to sexual assault here on Sunday.

The city police have registered an FIR under sections 376 and 337 of the PPC on the complaint of Muhammad Shabbir of Gaushala locality who claimed to be guardian of the minor girl ‘N’.

As per the FIR, the two suspects, who were said to be cousins of the minor girl, took her along on the pretext of attending a birthday function.

The suspects then took her to a deserted place and forced her to drink juice spiked with some intoxicant. As the girl drank the juice, she fell unconscious. The suspects then allegedly subjected her to rape repeatedly.

Police said medical examination of the girl proved she was subjected to assault, claiming that one of the suspects was arrested, while raids were being conducted to nab the other.

COMPLAINT: A complainant has accused Rajana police of not arresting an alleged kidnapper and recovering a girl who was abducted two months back.

Khalid Javed, of chak 291 GB Lahorian Wala, told a press conference at the local press club that his niece (Z) was allegedly abducted by Waris Ali. He apprehended that the suspect had killed the girl.

He added that despite registering a case and taking some alleged accomplices of the prime suspect into custody, the police neither arrested Waris nor recovered the girl.

Rajana police muharrar claimed raids were being conducted to arrest the suspect.
