Clarification

ISLAMABAD: Apropos a news item published in the March 8 edition of Dawn headlined ‘Report reveals 213 govt officers hold dual nationality’, Dr Sahar Nadeem Hamid on Thursday clarified that she was not and had never been a government officer.

Also, she said that she was not and had never been an American citizen. She said her husband was a government officer, but neither of them were American citizens.

The names mentioned in the news item were taken from a list compiled by the Establishment Division for the Supreme Court.
