KARACHI, May 13: A councilor and his associate were shot dead by unknown persons in Baldia Town on Friday night. Police said that Nawab Khan, councilor of Qaimkhanai Colony Baldia town UC-2, and his friend Ameerul Hasan were going on a motorcycle when they were fired upon by unknown persons near Janghal Shah School. Police said that the attackers were also on a motorcycle.
Both the wounded were taken to a nearby hospital where Nawab Khan was pronounced dead. Ameerul Hasan who was critically wounded died during treatment at the hospital.
