DADU: The Sindh United Party (SUP) launched a campaign for the rehabilitation of Manchhar lake by setting up hunger strike camps in Bubak and Jhangara towns along the lake’s embankment on Thursday.
A large number of fishermen of the area joined in the drive.
Speaking to the protesters, SUP leaders said that the Sindh government had failed to provide safe drinking water and other basic amenities to the fishermen community and rehabilitate the lake.
