TANK, Jan 7: The parents of students of Tank district government college have complained about shortage of teaching staff at the college.
They said several posts of teachers of physics, maths, political science, economics and Pakistan Studies had been lying vacant for a long time.
They said the college principal had brought the matter to the notice of the Education Department high-ups but no arrangement had been made.
The residents also criticized the college administration, which, according to them, had hired three teachers utilizing students’ private funds for the purpose. They appealed to the NWFP Governor to take notice of the situation and issue immediate directives for the appointment of teachers in the college.
