KARACHI: Kashif Ali excelled with a dazzling century as NCR CET College annihilated City School Darakhshan Campus by 188 runs in the fifth Bilal Bhaty Inter-school/collegiate T20 cricket tournament here on Thursday.

Batting first, NCR CET College posted 228-3 at the Lawai Cricket Stadium with Kashif making 103 off just 79 balls with the aid of seven boundaries and Mubashir Nawaz hitting up a 34-ball 67 (eight fours) as the duo shared a 157-run partnership for the first wicket.

City School, in reply, were shot out for a measly tally of 40 in 8.3 overs. Leg-spinner Syed Ali Nasim picked up three wickets for eight runs in two overs.

Meanwhile, in another fixture played at the Al Nadi Al Burhani Ground, Alpha College sealed a three-wicket victory over Beaconhouse PECHS Campus.
