KARACHI: 10 vehicles hijacked

KARACHI, Jan 7: At least 10 vehicles — four cars and six motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen in different parts of the city on Monday.

The cars were taken away in Darakshan, Aziz Bhatti, Ferozabad and F. B. Industrial Area police stations limits and their numbers are: D-2202, H-6822, J-7411, JX-9345.

The motorcycles were taken away in Eidgah, Ferozabad, Sir Syed Town and Airport police limits and their numbers are: KCT-9962; KAV-0596, KCA-1380; KCQ-7505; KAV-1973; BRC-2292.

INJURED: A bus passenger was injured when unknown persons opened fire on the bus in Gul Bai on Monday evening.

Mohammad Younus, 54, who was probably hanging from the footboard fell on the road, and suffered more injuries.

Hospital sources said that the victim received a single bullet in the leg.
