SRINAGAR, May 10: Militants shot dead four people in occupied Kashmir on Tuesday in an apparent bid to warn Kashmiri fighters not to give up arms for the freedom cause, police said. Freedom fighters shot dead three men as they were returning from praying at a mosque in southern Doda district, police said. In the same village, militants killed a former freedom fighter in a paddy field, police said. The dead man had recently surrendered to Indian troops.—AFP
