GILGIT, May 9: A large number traders belonging to the Northern Areas have proceeded to Kashghar to participate in a trade fair commencing from Tuesday in the western Chinese capital city of Xinjiang. Sources in the Northern Areas Chamber of Commerce and Industry that traders in a large number had gone to Kashgher in their individual capacity. Some small traders said that they had not been issued border passes.
