Quarantine houses near Wagha

ISLAMABAD, May 6: The government has decided to establish four temporary quarantine houses near Wagha customs station for the import of livestock from India. An official announcement by the ministry of commerce here on Friday said that the importers were advised to approach the animal husbandry commissioner, ministry of agriculture and livestock, for setting up of new quarantine houses other than those already approved.

The government has already directed the ministry of agriculture and livestock to consider any additional request for approval of temporary quarantine houses near the Wagha custom station for the import of livestock on priority basis.
