Chinese army team visits JSHQ

ISLAMABAD, May 4: A 35-member Chinese Armed Forces delegation, headed by Senior Colonel Chen Dongdeng, Vice- Provost of the National University of Defence Technology, visited the Joint Staff Headquarters here on Wednesday and called on Lt- Gen Shahid Siddiq Tirmizey, Director-General, Joint Staff.

According to the Inter Services Public Relations, the delegation is on an official visit to Pakistan. During the meeting at the JSHQ, matters of professional interest were discussed and the Chinese delegation was briefed on equipment maintenance and management by the three services.

The members of the delegation also visited the 502 Central Workshop where they were briefed about maintenance and overhauling work being undertaken.
