LAHORE, May 2: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) ad hoc committee suggested amendments to the board’s recently-drafted constitution prepared by Justice Karamat Nazir Bhandari. PCB Chairman Shaharyar M Khan told Dawn after attending the ad hoc committee meeting that the suggestions would be conveyed to Mr Bhandari and then it would be up to him to accept or reject them. He said the committee suggested making some clauses of the constitution related to the exact number of general council and executive council members, more clear.

He, however, said that the process would not take long and would hopefully be completed within a week. After a reply from Mr Bhandari, the constitution would be sent to patron-in-chief president Pervez Musharraf for final approval. The PCB constitution has been in abeyance since 1999.
