QUETTA: Three suspected militants were killed in an exchange of fire with security forces in the industrial estate area of Eastern Bypass here on Thursday.
Police officials said that personnel of Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and intelligence agencies conducted a joint search operation in the industrial area where armed men opened fire on them.
The personnel returned fired and the gun battle continued for two hours.
Arms and ammunition were recovered and over a dozen suspects arrested.
