PESHAWAR, Aug 23: The Directorate of Education, Fata, has made temporary appointments of 39 women lecturers at different girls colleges located in the six tribal agencies.

All the candidates selected by a committee would receive a monthly emoluments of Rs8,000 till the creation of regular posts by the NWFP Public Service Commission.

The committee has sanctioned 12 posts for English, six for law, four for computer science, six for statistics, five for physics and six for home economics teachers at girls colleges in Khyber, Orakzai, Bajaur, Kurrum, North Waziristan and Mohmand agencies.

The 12 English teachers — Rabia Kausar, Saima Kausar, Mehreen Shehzadi, Asma Begum, Lala Rukh Khattak, Shabana Murtaza, Shazia Bibi, Seema Dilawar, Noor Jehan, Aisha Bibi, Fauzia Naureen and Erum Fatima — have been, respectively, posted at the Government Degree College Miranshah, Khar (Bajaur), Jamrud (Khyber), Sadda (Kurrum), Kalaya (Orakzai) and Ekkaghund (Mohmand).

The six lecturers of law — Ms Nahida, Rashida Neelam Zeb, Lubna Haye, Farhana Tabassum, Nusrat Huma and Nagina Jamal — were posted at the girls college Miranshah (NWA), Jamrud, Khar, Ekkaghund, Sadda and Kalaya.

The six lecturers of statistics — Naheed Begum, Tashfeen Sanam, Shagufta Begum, Rakhshinda Falak, Aisha Bibi and Asma Gul — were posted at Kalaya, Khar, Sadda, Miranshah, Ekkaghund and Jamrud.

The six lecturers of home economics — Shamsa Syed, Harima Sami, Huma Zeb, Rafida Gul, Bushra Begum and Nelofar — were posted at Jamrud, Ekkaghund, Kalaya, Miranshah, Khar and Sadda.

The five physics teachers — Shaista Gul, Rahima Bibi, Nazia Begum, Hina Gul and Tabassum Habib — have been posted at Jamrud, Khar, Ekkaghund, Sadda and Miranshah.

The four computer science lecturers — Hina Jamil, Nusrat Shaheen, Nabeela Naeem and Shazia Nizam — were posted at Jamrud, Sadda, Miranshah and Ekkaghund.
